VERTICAL EVACUATION PROCESS: A CASE OF ELDERLY FACILITIES EVACUATION DURING HEAVY RAINFALLS

This exploratory study investigates the evacuation process of elderly facilities during Great West Japan Flood. Based on actual lifting up conditions and measurement data, we scrutinized time configured its scenario to explain vertical evacuation. The results highlight following points:
